After hanging her cleats up for good, one of Omaha’s greatest soccer players decided to use the game she loved to do good both for kids in our community and around the world. She’s Monica Bosiljevac, Executive Director of Football for the World - an Omaha-based Foundation that shoots to be ‘the Goodwill of football (soccer) equipment.’
They call it football. As in soccer, though. Yes, we get into that.
It works like this: They score your used equipment when you’re done with it. They have international connections as well as local projects that can do good with it. The impact can be monumental in the life of a young person - especially those without the means to play the sport.
That’s called winning the game of life.
So you probably just got a bunch of new gear for the fall season - if the old stuff is just sitting in the closet, well… now you know what to do with it!
Keep up with ‘em on insta here.
